Two overlapping weeks of rehearsals and performances had fellow actor Jomar Tagatac and I Amtrak-ing our way thru the capital corridor from the Bay Area to Sacramento and back again! Completely worthwhile in order to share such an amazing refugee story. Yay King of the yeesWhat a wild ride thru Chinatown! Had a blast as Actor 2 and had the opportunity to share the stage again with Francis Jue! A thousand splendid suns sets in seattleLast fall, I spent some time at Seattle Rep playing the role of Laila in A Thousand Splendid Suns. Some stats: 1 week of rehearsal + 1 week of tech and previews onstage for 2 hours and 15 minutes, aging from 15 - 40 8 (sometimes 9!) shows a week 1 week performed with a mild concussion... Needless to say, it was an experience! |
